Back to reality

Well I got back Tuesday morning after a long flight and many delays. Mb organised me to fly business class home as he knew how uncomfortable I was last time with my belly. So grateful for his generosity as this time I also have quite a lot of pain. I keep getting stabbing pains and I feel like my ovaries are going to explode when I stand up or walk around!!!
Mb and Jay surprised me at the airport by picking me up and both taking the day off to be with me. I was so excited to see them but Jay being a teenager was quite reserved and Mb being Mb was too. They seemed happy to see me but they really didn't seem to miss me THAT much! Not sure whether to feel happy about that or disappointed! LOL!
I finally got my embryologist report and the transfer to both surrogates went off without a hitch. So now I'm in the 2ww and praying for a baby or two in 9 months!!
I miss Rene and I wish her all the very best. It was also great to catch up with Michaela and her family, Mel, Meg, Bob and Toby while I was there. Best wishes to Stacey and Lee for the safe arrival of the twins!

I guess the days of adventures, room service and maid service are over now. Back to reality..... especially upon opening the fridge back home only to find rotting fruit!!! Ahhhhh this is the life!!!

  1. I am glad to hear you had a safer trip back. Sorry to hear that you are in pain! Hopefully the pain disappears soon and you get very positive results next week! It would be so great if you were all back for the baby pickup at the same time. It was great to meet you! Stacey
