A little scary, Im sure its all good but the scan did not pick up the embryo or the heartbeat. Dr Shivani wrote a well defined yolk sac (which was not visible last week) and no embryo seen as yet so they are re testing next week. I googled and apparently this is all normal at the beginning of 5 weeks (5 weeks 1 day) so fingers crossed for embryo and heartbeat next week.

The circle in the bottom left scan shows the yoke!

In other news we (mainly me) are still cleaning and dusting just got the garage to do and the back deck. I feel like Sadie the cleaning lady! So good to be home though!

All the best for the next scans. We had no visible embryos first scan too, I think thats very common as its so early on. There is a little something which is the main thing-so far so good :)
ReplyDeleteThese early scans can be tricky! We had a similar report at 5 weeks....and it all turned out fine 1 week later....but I remember that week was very emotional and nerve ending.
