Gave my 2nd injection to myself, surprisingly easy to do. Did a spot of shopping at Select City Mall, we stand out in Delhi as very few westerners. Some people stare but not in a rude way, yet everyone has been so friendly. We feel pretty relaxed here, Jay is loving it. He has been watching, India's got talent and Dance India Dance on telly and some Bollywood movies. At brekky this morning he said "Mum, I just love the culture here".
Had room service for lunch then met Sam and Phil and another couple from America for a shopping trip to Dalli Haat Market. Sam organised a people mover and driver to take us all to the market, it was great going all together, Phil is so funny. It was very hot walking around, Jay struggled a bit but Sam introduced him to Mango smoothies which he loved. Brought a couple of things and MB got a beautiful black and white original drawing on hand made paper. Jay was wrapped with his purchase of a lovely little wooden chess set which is also magnetic. Then we hopped back into the car and went to ISIS Hospital where we bumped into Dr Shivani. She is a very nice lady and we go back on Tuesday to sign the contract and check out how Im going.
Upon hoping back into the car we noticed about 5 young ladies in beautiful Saris hoping out of a little mini van, we guessed they were intending surrogates. They looked so young, pretty and happy.
We drove back to the hotel for a rest and lay down before dinner.
Phil took Jay to a game shop in the other shopping centre next to select city walk. The shop called Fog is every teenage boys dream! They have all these different consoles, PSP, WII, XBOX and you pay a small amount to play whilst lazying on leather seats with built in speakers! Jay really liked Phil before he showed him the shop, now Jay thinks Phil is his new BF! LOL!
Mb loves the shopping here and the food. Svelte is great, the only pain is you don't have your own washing facilities for clothes! Svelte can do your laundry but its pretty $$. Will have to check out other options. A few people have said they would like to comment on this blog but can't. I will try to fix this.
Hope everyone is well back home
