In the fashion of passing on the awards for favourite blogs,( although YOU are all my favs) I would like to list the following in no particular order
1. Mumbai Beginnings My sweet little friend from the U S of A who has been through an eerily similar journey as mine. Rene I know your hurting but please know we are all here for you. Love ya chicken!
2. Sam and Phil Blog. I have the pleasure of calling you guys my friends. Sam and Phil have been to hell and back and I admire their strength and determination. Sam is so knowledgable and I know if I need to ask a question, he will know the answer! Phil is doing a brillant job being a full time carer of Ruby and Zoe, its hard enough looking after one baby, let alone two! Both these guys are great parents, good fun and great cooks. Whenever I feel self pity I think of what they have been through and think, they did it , so can I!!!
3. Daddys heart. I love this blog it is so honest, heartfelt and beautifully written.
4. Sequinced Saree Dreams. Finally after so much sorrow SJ & B finally have their little girls home with them!!
5. Suzie and Ben. We started out this journey the same time as Suzie and Ben. They are expecting their twiblings in March and they will be great parents. So love you guys and hope to come over and see you in Perth some time this year!!!
No one has an easy journey even before they choose surrogacy. I would also like to thank everyone for your heartfelt comments after my last post. The holidays have been a bit of a roller coaster and I so appreciate every individual comment. I'm sorry if I upset you Temmy, Rene and Suzie, that was not my intention. Self pity is really not attractive!
Allie, Grace and Rene that post was for you girls too, I guess I just wanted the outside world to know that it's not easy for us at the moment and for you girls to know, your not alone.
Take care my wonderful surro buddies and the good news will eventually come!!!

ReplyDeleteYou did not upset me at all Bec. Love you guys too and hope you can manage a trip to Perth (just don't come now as it's way too bloody HOT!!) xxx
Yes Bec, good news WILL eventually come. I like that spirit!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are correct that the journey is not easy! This is why it is so great to have so many blogs to read and recognize that not everyone falls or stays pregnant on the first try. Good news does come...sometimes just a lot later than you hoped for.
