Kai is coming up to 11 months and is such a beautiful baby. He has a smile for every one he meets and will go to anyone for a cuddle. Despite his truly outgoing nature he is a real mummy's boy!
It's like he has been here before, he understands what we are saying and is cheeky and very very active! He get's the jokes and makes his own. If anyone dare ignores him especially when out in public he makes a loud "Heh" noise until they notice him and then he gives one of his killer smiles!
Everyday I am so grateful to Kai's surrogate, Dr Shivani and the team at SCI and India for allowing us to go over and make our dreams come true. I miss India and can't wait to go back.
We have started trying again as we have frozen embryo's and think it would be lovely for Kai to grow up with a sibling who is close in age. Our first try we got a bfp but it was only 66.25. I didn't get excited as I just thought it was sooooo low. A week later the ultrasound confirmed no sac and a chemical pregnancy. Not to worry we will try again.

ReplyDeleteThank you so much :)
DeleteWe saw you and your family numerous times at the Svelte (passing in the hallways, at breakfast) last year when we were in Delhi. I did not want to disturb your family time then but wish I had said hello. It warms my heart to see how Kai has grown since then. Best wishes on the sibling project.
